What does it really take to be healthy?!
A question I have asked myself for many years, trying to gather as much information as possible. I read books, listened to multiple podcasts, discussed with others, gone to nursing school, and I have even experimented on myself. Through exposure and research, I believe healthy means you:
- eat real food
- stop counting calories
- move your body
- eliminate inflammatory substances
- have a mindfulness practice
- enjoy probiotics
This may seem like a lot, but it’s not! It doesn’t have to be difficult. For the next several weeks I will be diving deeper in to each category of health, explaining and guiding you towards a better perspective of what it means to be healthy.
I believe for years people have been taught the wrong things. Let’s get back to the basics. Let’s re-learn how we were made to eat and feel.
Next week I will be discussing “real food”. What a concept to even have to talk about, but it’s so true! What does a real food diet look like, what does that even mean, and how you can incorporate it in to your life.
