Hey everyone, we’re doing a Tabata workout today, it’s super-intense and one of may favorite workouts. Tabata is a exercise framework where you workout for 20 seconds, rest for 10, and that’s 1 round. There are 4 movements, 8 rounds each. A full Tabata lasts 16 minutes.
- Burpees – 20 sec on, 10 sec off, 8 rounds = @ 4 minutes
- Air Squats – same as above
- Abs – same as above
- Overhead Press – same as above
Now, this is a tough workout. If you’re still new, I would recommend doing the workout in halves. Do 4 rounds of each movement at a time, getting you through all the movements in 8 minutes. If you’re feeling good, then repeat for a full 16 minute Tabata.
